But I didn't have the recovery discs to begin with so I had no choice but to talk to dell. Whether or not the OS is OEM licensed, it should still work on compatible hardware, even if it's a bootable USB drive. I've been told the normal Win 7 ISO isn't supposed to be used and it has to be an OEM copy. That's what I want to do which is why I need the ISO file from Dell.
